Delete your data
Last updated: October 28, 2026
One page, one address, no form to fight with. To see, correct, or delete anything Snowshack Software LLC holds about you, email [email protected] and say which product you used and what you want done. Write to that same address from any mail client if the link doesn't open one: [email protected].
We are a one-person software studio, so this is a person reading your mail, not a ticket queue. We will confirm we received your request, do it, and tell you when it's done — within 30 days, and usually much sooner. There is no charge, and you don't have to give a reason.
What to put in the request
Only enough to find your record, and nothing more — we will not ask you for ID documents or for data we don't already hold:
- Which product: Spellshooter 2, Alpenkeep, Ampledger, AlpenForm, or the snowshacksoftware.com waitlist.
- What you want: deletion, a copy of your data, or a correction.
- How we can find it: the email address you signed up with, or — for Spellshooter 2 leaderboards, where there is no email — your player name and friend code, which you can read in the game's settings.
If we can't match a request to a record we actually hold, we'll say so plainly rather than guess, because deleting the wrong person's data is also a privacy failure.
Spellshooter 2 (web, iOS, Android)
Spellshooter 2 needs no account. By default your scores, stats, streaks, and achievements stay on your own device and we never receive them — deleting the app, or clearing site data for the web version, erases them, and there is nothing on our side to ask us about.
The one exception is leaderboards, which are off until you turn them on. With them on, your chosen player name, an anonymous player ID, your friend code, and the scores you submit are stored on our backend so the boards can be displayed. Turning leaderboards off in-app stops any further sharing immediately. To remove what was already submitted, email us your player name and friend code and we will delete the player record and its scores.
Alpenkeep, Ampledger and AlpenForm
These three are still in development and are not publicly released, so most people reading this have no data with us at all. Where they do store data for a signed-in user — ski profiles and photos in Alpenkeep, panel photos and breaker labels in Ampledger, readiness and injury flags and workout history in AlpenForm — each app will offer account deletion from inside the app itself when it ships, as Apple and Google both require, and deleting the account deletes that data.
If you have used a pre-release or TestFlight build of any of them, email us and we will delete the account and its contents. AlpenForm's injury, readiness, and performance records are the most sensitive data we hold anywhere, and a deletion request covering AlpenForm is treated as covering all of it, including anything derived from it.
The snowshacksoftware.com waitlist
If you joined a product waitlist, we hold the email address you gave us and which product you asked about — nothing else, never sold, never used for anything but telling you that product is ready. Ask and we delete the entry; that also unsubscribes you, because the entry is the subscription.
This website
The pages on snowshacksoftware.com have no accounts and no sign-in. See our Privacy Policy for what each surface does and does not collect, including the Spellshooter 2 web preview, which is hosted separately from these pages.
Deleting an account inside the app
Where a Snowshack product has accounts, you do not have to email anyone: the app offers account deletion directly, and this page exists so there is also a route that works from a web browser, from a store listing, or from a device you no longer have. Both paths delete the same data.
What we can't delete for you
Apple and Google hold their own records of app downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies; we never see your payment details and cannot delete anything in their systems. Take those requests to the App Store or Google Play directly. We may also keep a minimal record where law requires it, or where we need it to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse — if that applies to your request we will tell you specifically what is kept and why, rather than using it as a reason to do nothing.
Children
Snowshack products are not directed to children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it — no account, friend code, or proof of purchase needed.
California and other state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, the rights that law gives you — access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sale or targeted advertising — are exercised through this same address, and we will not treat you differently for using them. We do not sell personal information and we do not run targeted advertising. If we ever deny a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal it.
